Herp Hobbyists provides a platform for reptile enthusiasts to track and manage their animals, record husbandry logs, store photos, monitor care schedules, and optionally share animal profiles publicly. Features include but are not limited to: herp profiles, genetics and morph tracking, care task scheduling, measurement logging, and photo storage.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload (including photos, care records, and animal profiles). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Services. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe any third-party rights.

5. Public Profiles

Herp profiles you mark as "Public" may be viewed by anyone with the link or QR code. You are responsible for the information you choose to make public. We recommend not including personally identifiable information (such as your home address) in public profiles.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes on the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Use automated scraping or data extraction tools without our express written permission.
• Misrepresent the identity or ownership of animals in any listing or profile.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform software, design, logos, and non-user content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our proprietary materials without written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The Services may integrate with third-party providers (such as cloud storage, mapping, or species databases). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that care schedules, species data, or other informational content are accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific animal's needs. Always consult a qualified exotic veterinarian for medical advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including harm to your animals resulting from reliance on information provided through the platform.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.

These Terms are governed by applicable law, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction in which the service is operated.
