• Pages visited and features used, to help us improve the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain your account and animal records.
• To send care task reminders and notifications you configure.
• To personalise your experience based on your preferences.

3. Public Profiles

Herp profiles you mark as "Public" are accessible to anyone with the link, including via QR code labels. Public profiles display the animal's name, species, morph genetics, photos, and care notes you choose to include. Before making a profile public, review its contents and remove any information you do not wish to share.

4. Photo Storage

Photos you upload are stored securely using a third-party cloud storage provider. We do not share your photos with third parties except as necessary to deliver the Services (for example, serving images to your browser).

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, storage, analytics), under confidentiality agreements.
• Legal or regulatory authorities if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.
• A successor entity if Herp Hobbyists is acquired or merged, subject to the same privacy commitments.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and animal records for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time, after which your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
